The Calandiva series of K. blossfeldiana have blooms with many more than 4 petals.

I was wondering about that. This was on clearance as Kalanchoe Flaming single yellow. I saw the "flaming Katy yellow" and put it here.

And this entry is labeled Flaming Katy.

"Flaming Katy" and "Florist Kalanchoe" are common names for Kalanchoe blossfeldiana. Calandiva is a registered trademark for a particular series and I agree that your pretty plant is not Calandiva Yellow since that one has double blooms.

If your wasn't labeled at the time you acquired it, I'm not sure if you can know an exact cultivar name but you can enlarge your image in the database, scroll down to the bottom and submit a proposal to move it to the species Florist Kalanchoe (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana), or submit a proposal to move it to the general database entry for all Kalanchoe Kalanchoes (Kalanchoe)

Got it, I search for Flaming Katy yellow and this one showed up. I requested it to be moved.

These kalanchoes are starting to catch my attention. I used to kill these or can't make them rebloom. This is my first successful year of rebloom. I love the cluster blooms

Best of all seem to be low maintenance and easy to propagate from leaf or cuttings.

My pleasure! I love Kals! Where you are, this K. blossfeldiana should make a great landscape plant, tolerant of light frost and should bloom from about now until around June. If you have a hard frost predicted, you can snip off the blooming stems and stick them in a pot, or a jar of water. Root-hardy here but hard frosts always ruin the foliage and flowers of the stems I don't harvest to bring inside.
