Thank you for your nice comments and likes, everyone. And acorns from HemNorth and Fleur. Bleu Aimable is a historic tulip that I tried in my garden a few years ago. I loved the blue interior, but the tulip did not last long in the garden--a couple years and it was gone. I had hoped for something more perennial, but I will try it again some day.
Seems like there is opportunity to do some breeding to produce a true blue tulip---the color genes are there!
