Beautiful! Conifers are some of my favorite trees, and among my favorite plants in general. Great banner for this time of year! Thumbs up Thumbs up

Excellent banner, Fleur! Is it a fir or a spruce? Either way, it displays a nice collection of needles, buds, and cones. I'm enjoying the Christmas-y selection of banners. Smiling

Per some inquiries, here is the original photo, and a zoomed in look at the cones and buds. Fir or spruce....you've got me thinking , perhaps a spruce.
Advice from an expert is always appreciate.

Thank You! for the extra images, especially the closeup of the cones & needles.
Worthy of framing, imho. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.

Attractive arrangement in the pot as well (or is it actually growing in it?).

Love, love, love this banner, and the ancillary photos. Though the cones and buds scream spring to me, the colors work perfectly for the season. I tip my hat to you. Hurray!

Thanks for the extra photos. This looks like a spruce. Spruce needles are usually square in diameter, while fir needles are flattened. Mature spruce cones remain intact; mature fir cones fall apart.

A beautiful Christmas greeting! Thank you, Fleur! Smiling
