I think it is some sort of fern but it did not say at the store. I recently got a humidifier to try and add a lot more humidity to the room most of my plants are in. I have also created pebble trays for water and the pots sit on top of them to drain into.

The other plant is an arrowhead plant and just curious what would be causing these brown spots? Overwatering? I recently repotted to a pot with a drainage hole.

Your first plant may be a birdnest fern.
Bird's Nest Fern (Asplenium nidus)

If so, the leaves will turn brown if it gets too dry.

Yeah, that is what the plantin app said but it didn't look like their pictures. The pictures I see here do resemble it. I think then adding the humidity tray underneath and having humidity in the room is helping. I recently watered and it feels like there is more moisture in the leaves.

It is going to need a good deal more humidity then that. They are not easy, indoor plants because of that. They like rather subdued light and moist at the roots. Not swampy but moist.

Not sure exactly what the other plant is but it needs more water as well.
You might need a humidity gauge as the birds nest likes 70-80 humidity. Maybe consider a small humidifier in an enclosed plant room.
I just don't know to what level that you want to get involved.
Good luck.

The other plant does look like arrowhead vine but I don't know why the leaves have the spots. Could be a fungus, bacteria, or the roots were struggling in the previous pot without holes. I would probably cut those leaves off if it was my plant, then keep the other leaves dry while it's inside.

Arrowhead Plant (Syngonium podophyllum)

Ahh that makes sense. I have a small one in the room where it is and I do shut the door. It can get up to 60-75ish when the door is shut. It did seem rather rainforesty haha. I would say it is in a good subdued light position but we will see if the moisture will become a problem this winter. I am all new to this and learning which plants can live well in the environment I have.
