I agree, Dieffenbachia (maybe D. compacta, there are lots of cultivars). Watch your watering, let is dry some between waterings, the soil looks heavy/peaty/moisture-retentive and it's mid-Winter. Good luck!

You don't have to transplant it now, many people refrain from transplanting mid winter, and I don't think yours needs it now, just watch your watering and don't kill it with love.
