I really only need 2 dimensional representations of garden beds, no 3D, landscaping materials, gazebos, etc., etc. needed. But here's the thing. I would like to insert my own images (png/jpg) of individual plants. Is there something available that would do the job?

I have one and occasionally still use it.
It's called graph paper. When I stared my garden computers were barely available for home use.
I have several plant apps. Really helps to keep up,with the new plant varieties.

I have been using Simplyscapes for landscape design and it has worked great for me. I think it's free to try out so you definitely should!
