SW Peeps! Had my Heinz 57 birthday recently and received a beautiful orchid and potted tulips! Just thought I'd share these beauties! The tulip is already sending up another sprout! I've never had these plants before. Any tips?

And if you're wondering about the polka dot wall… hahahahaa, I'm going with Behr Canyon Dusk at some point!! When does bullnose corners end? Good, Lord, the wrap around bull nose requires three rooms to be painted when you just want one! Just venting my SW Peeps!

It was a great weekend! A breakfast out on Friday. Saturday was a family Spaghetti Feast celebration with cake and Jenga to follow. And yesterday evening, after setting up the grow station, Hubs treated me to a piano concerto before supper. I'm a lucky girl!

Nope, never had orchids before, Ms Doe. I have her in the master bathroom which has a large skylight. It's a large wrap around style bath with no doors to the bedroom so I don't think excess humidity will be an issue. Her unopened buds have now opened and I plan a light splash of water weekly. Does that sound about right? I thought I'd grab some orchid fertilizer as well for a monthly feed.
