Thank you All for the thumbs ups, comments and acorns! It's meaningful to me, and a joy to have a banner submission that ushers in Garden.org's major website redesign!

The original photo of this banner was lost in editing. Luckily, here's a different angle for the big picture. Unlike so many other black-eyed susans, little suzy sits closer to the ground with coarser blooms, giving it a "mouth feel" that deer are more likely to ignore.
