Keep Your Car Clean

By Boopaints

Keep a drop cloth and a box in your car for surprise finds at garage sales, bulk trash pileups, or plant nurseries. You never know when an unplanned surprise will come your way!

I got a couple of under-the-bed-totes (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ste...) that I keep in the van during spring-summer-fall .. it's true, you never know what you're gonna find when you're out & about! Saved a lot of vacuuming on my part!

I got that, but without the wheels.

It's used for other things too. I use large square sheets layed out in the back of our Trailblazer and sometimes carry boxes you get from garden centers.

Boo, this is a great tip. I began keeping a very large rubbermaid type plastic storage container without the lid in my trunk years ago ... originally intended for grocery shopping to keep groceries from rolling around the trunk but it has come in handy for so many things. It's really great when I go nursery shopping, keeps the plants contained for the trip home. Cardboard boxes are great for some stuff but if you have plants with wet soil the box can get soggy so I prefer the heavy duty plastic containers.

Whistling I have to admit though .... there have been times when I've *um gone a bit overboard with plant purchases and also have to put plastic on the back seat.

I use laundry baskets as well for bringing home the plants that always seem to jump into the shopping cart ! Hilarious!

Great idea, everyone! I bought some cheap table cloths at a party store for 35 cents each. They were seasonal themes that were not longer pertinent. Love having them!
