Over six months later that same bud LOOKS like it might finally open sometime soon??? I might just fall over. Have any of you experienced this kind of "hang time"?)

I'm not an expert, but the flower bud tip looks like it's dried, maybe due to low ambient relative humidity?

The heating of your home could dry the air in winter. When did the situation occur? Did subsequent buds open? It looks like it would have nice flower color.

She lives on my back porch in the St.Pete Beach area, so the humidity stays reasonably high throughout the year.

This is the only bud that the plant has had since last year.

It is opening more and more everyday, looks very yellow like my "Aiko"

Sorry for the bad cell phone shots, will post daylight images tomorrow..
