@billwbh, if those were mine, this Spring, I would unpot it and put each plant to its own small container with drain holes and well draining, gritty media.
Jades are indeed quite forgiving, and once given better light access as well, it may also manage to grow more branches from the nodes of the exposed stem/trunk.
It is good timing to repot..as we are now nearing Spring too.
Usually when they are still young like that, I only put 1 or 2 stems...so easy for this plant to grow branches/go taller as it seeks more sun, making the container a tight fit...so if I can, I prefer to use shallow but wide mouth containers. Its root system remains small and shallow growing anyways.
It would be to your preferred choice if you want to cut it down a bit, but to me its height and span is still okay.
