I was walking along the river and found this stranded on the sand, it is a bulb of some sort but I really would like to know what plant it is, have tried searching for a few hours and can't find anything. Friend thinks it might be a lilly of some sort.

@porkpal It does look like it's 2 bulbs connected at the top. I have no clue, the texture of it kind of feels like a potato if that helps at all.

Crocosmia. The top bulb with the bud is the growth/bloom bulb. The bulbs below are the storage units. If you can't figure it out, just plant it on its side and let the bulb work it out.

The tuber looks like possible oca (Oxalis tuberosa) or possible stachys...

Both can be found growing in Washington state... I suggest planting this tuber and posting the leaves when it comes up.

Maybe you've found a valuable garden veggie!
