I do feel guilty as all I do is ask for IDs. I love my cacti but know very little about them. This one, again, sold as 'Cactus'. Even with my limited knowledge I know that much.

Nope. Cactus lookalike called Euphorbia ferox. Or a hybrid of it anyway. Not spines but modified flower stalks. Also toxic latex and weird small flower. It is succulent though.

Not really. Most sellers cant tell the difference and manufacturers count on it.

Yup, Ferox. Most online shops include them in the cactus section as it behaves like cactus.
