Have a lot of seedlings sprouted this spring. Have like more than 20 from blue and white/pink colors.

Are we talking about seedlings? I'd be very happy with a couple of each.

Karen - I would be interested in two of the blue blooming Hardy Hibiscus seedlings if you are able to tell the apart. In all honesty, I've never seen the blue ones before!

I am sorry Becky but I cannot tell them apart. I have seen some of the seedlings and they are not as blue as the parent's. As you know in daylilies, the kids rarely look exactly like the parent. The only way to get good ones is to grow a bunch of the seedlings and hope that one or few of them turn out to be what you want.

Just curious .... do you happen to have any pictures of the parents that you have seedlings from? I understand what you are saying about seedlings turning out different than their parents.

I am not even sure what Hardy Hibiscus plants/blooms even look like. Hibiscus bushes are common here in Florida, but I am not sure what exactly a "Hardy"cultivar looks like. I did a google search, but I was still unsure of what they look like in person and how big they might typically get. The pictures online in my search looked color enhanced and not realistic. I grow several different turk's cap bushes here, but not hibiscus. Your post has me very curious and .... I know your photography is excellent, so that is why I am inquiring about perhaps a couple of photos. Thumbs up

And yes! I might still be interested in a few seedlings if you have enough to share.

Hardy Hibiscus, they are cold hardy-regrow every year from the ground.
Thumb of 2022-03-19/Frillylily/b12545

Tropical hibiscus (they come in assorted colors) have a frillier look, with sometimes orange or yellow, peach blooms, hardies do not have any of those colors. The foliage tends to be darker, glossier leaves. They are not cold hardy.

Rose of sharon , these will resprout buds of new leaves on the shrub every year, like a privet or forsythia, last years growth will green up again.

Thumb of 2022-03-19/Frillylily/5fe7f3
these can come in 'blue' but to me they are still purple shades

Thumb of 2022-03-19/Frillylily/960b18 Some people refer to rose of sharon as hardy hibiscus, so when the original poster here said 'blue' it made me wonder if she has those.

Frillylily is right. What I have are rose of Sharon shrubs, hibiscus syriacus. The ones I have are Blue Bird for the blue flower and Helene for the white with pink center flower. You can look those varieties up, Becky. I have pics of a few seedlings but don't know where they are at the moment. I will post them when I find them.
Frillylily, I love your double blue flower!

@beckygardener @bluegrassmom , Becky and Teresa, I don't have any more seedlings. There was another who contacted me before you about the seedlings so I am sending her the remaining. It seems I have these seedlings coming up every year. I will definitely contact you guys first next year.

I have Midnight Marvel and a white but I have not seen seedlings. I bought some grow balls to try and propagate them on the branching.
Hope you are doing well.

Here are some more pics of seedlings which bloom today. Usually I pulled them in the spring and gave them away, but somehow a few got left behind.

I think this is my best one this year.
Thumb of 2022-08-05/kousa/1cf33f

This one's color is what I normally get.
Thumb of 2022-08-05/kousa/a87f9c

The tall pinkish blue one is the seedling. The white one is Helene

Depending on how many I get, seedlings will be given in the following order:
Becky: first set of 10
Teresa: second set of 10
Caren: third set of 10

Oh goodie! I was just looking at photos of the Hardy Hibiscus this past weekend and hoping I might eventually get my hands on some seedlings. Thrilled at your post, Karen! Let me know details when you have some ready to go to a new home. Thumbs up
