I saw this plant in a botanical garden in North Carolina.
I'd appreciate help identifying it.
Thanks.

Interesting. Did you take any other pics?

Thanks for the Rhodiola suggestion, Janine. I looked up R. rosea and the foliage is quite similar but I'm entirely unfamiliar with the plant habit of Rhodiola, so I'm not sure.
Tiffany, I took only one other picture with the plant label, of course. But the label states Alyssum oxycarpum, which doesn't seem likely to be right.

I think it isAlyssum oxycarpum.
Most of the photos online show it's blooming. But, it's dormant rosettes look exactly like that of the ones in your hpoto to me.
For example: https://nargs.org/forum/image-...

IT does seem like some species of Alyssum. I think it's the one in its tag.

I don't think the current photos are accurate?
If they were, a lot of these more alpine Alyssum can look really different when in their dormant/succulent/rosette phase than their blooming phase.

Scott, you're going to have to go back when this is blooming.

I agree that the picture sedumzz posted from NARGS looks just like my plant, so I guess I should have believed the tag. But all the images I scanned using Google Images look like the ones I posted to the Plants Database in the past. So I do think it's likely the plant looks quite different when flowering than earlier in the spring. I have a plant of Alyssum oxycarpum in my rock garden (which is where prior images came from). It's raining now, but I'll check the foliage when it dries out a little. My plant is pretty little, so I'm not sure if it will be definitive. Thanks to all of you for your help!
