they are also called grecian windflowers, it is a small bulb, they only bloom in the spring at least for me. They come in pinks, lavender, darker purples and white. They close up on cloudy days or at night and open again in the morning.

Here the common name is just windflower so I googled it!

Apparently ...according to Google it has had a name change!!!!
Apparently now Anemonoides blanda!
