This plant has a strong scent when I rub the leaves. Anyone know what it is?

Something in Lamiaceae, mint family perhaps. Monarda or other mint relatives

It is Monarda. I had forgotten I had some in a pot as well as in the garden. I didn't know it had such a strong scent.

Yes, monarda. Also called bee balm or bergamot.
It is a great pollinator attractor.

Yes. I got it at the in-person Chicagoland swap last year. It was already big when I received it. I planted it in a pot & it got powdery mildew & I forgot all about it until it was ID'd on this thread
