I planted just over 30 plants just over a year ago. They are currently roughly knee height and you can see the growth in the photos I've attached. Do I need to prune or shape these babies now/this spring? I am hoping to eventually have a hedge and I'm just wondering if they should be shaped up a bit or if I should let them go this spring. I don't want them to get too leggy Any advice is appreciated. Zone 5b if it matters.

You can cut the tallest stems back to roughly same height as the others but since they are still so young I'd hold off pruning for another year or so if you can stand it. If not then just even the height a bit but no more. Unless they're to stay that small they have alot more growth to put on before mature.

They look good btw!! Thumbs up

Thank you! I certainly want them to get bigger/fuller. I'm just a novice and want to make sure I'm doing what I can to help them do that. I'm going to LIGHTLY trim back some of the long branches up top and then let them be.

Boxwoods won't get leggy unless they're in too much shade. Yours look great!
