Rue Anemone

A small Rue Anemone opens its blooms in early spring.

Planted in plain "garden soil" (generic potting mix) in a lightly shaded garden bed.

Thanks! This one is native. Right now it has 4 flower stalks and ~20 blooms! This is a wonderful bloomer and is very reliable.

I've also never seen (or heard of) that flower before. Many times the banners get me interested in looking up more info about flowers and shrubs to see if there's someplace I can plant them in my yard. This one definitely did that again, great banner!

The foilage is super cute too; somewhat reminicent of a frilly maidenhair fern

Oh that's cool! I ❤️ ferns!! Too bad though, because we can't do a lot of ferns here…not warm enough in the winter/some of spring.
I wonder if I could do a Rue Anemone. I really do like the flowers.
