Thread OP
Colorado Springs (Zone 5b)
Indoor grower
I recently started getting yellowing and dropping of lower leaves. I took the plant out to inspect the roots. The outer roots look ok. Should I remove the soil to inspect the root ball and do I need to upsize to a bigger pot? The tips continue to grow new leaves.

The lower leaves will get old and fall off. You definitely should up pot with that root ball.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
