Interesting! Do you have a photo of what they look like without water that long?

I have a few that are still not plump even when watered. No visible sign of rot, just dehydrated.

Sorry no photos of before, during or after ...

All were dehydrated ...all had wrinkling ....all had "buttressing" ...all had a circular cavity around the caudex - that got wider as resources were drawn from the caudex

All recovered after first saturation watering - plump & firm as if nothing ever happened

I would not recommend withholding water to adeniums that can stay outdoors year-round

So are they back now? I'm concerned with one of mine that is still dehydrated almost flat and it is in shallow terracotta pot. I might have to give it the agro-thrive treatment beginning tomorrow. To see if it will plump back up.

All my plants went outdoors on April 21 2022 ...watered to saturation on April 22 2022 ...by the next day - all of them had plumped-back-up .....

first time ever that I never lost any ....

I wouldnt pull that stunt now or at anytime during the spring, summer or fall months
