I bought it as S. dendroidium, but that does not me it was correct. Let's see what we can find out.

The leaves on dendroideum are alternate, the leaves on ovata are opposite. The leaves on dendroideum form a distinct rosette, the ones on ovata more like a terminal bunch. Maybe those are not the best words botanically speaking, but I would say the plant in the picture is most likely Crassula ovata, and would be happy to propose moving it if you agree.
