I've never seen a succulent like this. It grows in segments.

All I know, it's not a euphorbia.

I have that plant! It grows underground and then the tips come up. Easy grower. Broken off pieces root easily everywhere.

That is very interesting to hear that it's hardy in Z6!

Its origin is South Africa, Eastern Cape. I don't think it is winter hardy in my neighborhood.

Ohh, sorry! I wasn't clear!
I grow my plants ( C&S, Orchids, Passiflora and other misc) inside during the Winter here in NJ and I am starting now to bring out my plants outside for the Summer. By the middle of September I start bringing everything back inside. This plant would sit near a bright window inside and or on a sunny shelf in my greenhouse during the cold months. During the warmer months it sits amongst my C&S on the deck, never in the ground.
