I did a search in the plant database (showy flower, pink, under 1") and did not see a similar one. Please help identify.
Wildflower. 5 petals with an extra one that makes a pointy shape. Asymmetrical. To me, did not see obvious stigma or anther. It was embedded in paper as giveaway. Southern California.

Thank you. That looks like it, L. repens. Glad to learn that it's an herb and does have bilateral symmetry...

Just for info....The extra one ..the pointy shaped thing is called a spur..several plants have them..eg nemesia, Diasica, Aquilegia, Delphinium etc.
