I have a few painted clay pots and the paint has, so far, lasted a surprisingly long time. I think I used acrylic too.

I do not have the pots as of yet. But I will store them. not going to plant anything in them yet when I get them as I am un decided. but when I am decided I figured outside with my other plants.
