Well, if I'm going wishlist, at this point it's probably going to be Chiang Mai Prince from Nui. More like $350. Maybe I'll splurge later this year. Not sure. https://www.bandbexoticsplumer...

They are beautiful! My concern in buying anything that expensive is that over time there will be a lot of these and if a grower in Thailand or other places get hold of these, these will be mass produced via grafting a short cuttings. Then market will be flooded with it and the price drops down dramatically.

I love my own seedgrown plumerias. So I stoped buying them and I also stopped growing from seeds since I am running out of real estate. 😂 I do not have Ken's 2+ acreage!

After buying 2 grafted "Black Purples" I'm not investing that much again. Both croaked due to grafts not being completely healed/shipping shock/change of humidity etc.

_Both were short cuttings. Angry

Yes, that's how they mass produce these "new" releases. To me, it is not rare if it is a cutting or grafted. If you own the entire plant then it is rare since no one has it than you.

It's a beauty. That's one that I lost in the freeze. Definitely lives up to the color. A better purple in my opinion than Black Purple.

Not much of a root system, but the diameter of the stem was thick + the graft was completely healed. Won't expect flowers this year. Just hope it acclimates to our Heat this Summer.

Should do well. Normally graft would be on a strong seedling. I don't own grafted plumerias. Just grafted desert roses.
