hi everyone.. I have a dying spruce tree that I was weeding under the other day and noticed this huge plant that has been growing on the shady side of it.. it's probably 10-12' high now and it has small white flowers blooming with long yellow centers.. the flowers are kind of bell shaped, but all seem to be growing facing up.. any help in identifying it is much appreciated! I live in Columbus, OH, in case the region helps in narrowing it down.. my plant ID apps indicated it was a type of Trillium, but those only have three distinct petals on each flower, apparently.. so I have no clue what this is.. thanks in advance!

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
