Thread OP

Hello everybody,
I hope I put this question into right place. I am really beginner when it comes to plants. I have few plants that.. you canĀ“t really kill but few months ago my sister decided to give me a present in form of monstera albo cutting. She said she got it cheap because the plant used to have greenbug issue. I was away from home so she put it in some leca and when I came home I see the plant is doing alright, shooting new roots. But its been now a few months and the plant isnt doing anything. Air root stopped growing, the leaf who had issue with greenbug is still as when I got her (with black top) . I tried to search for answer but usually I get "give it a time".

I only do not want to miss anything that would cost the plants life. So I ask you more experienced wonderful people in hope to help me. *Blush*
Thank you so much for your time!

Plants are not meant to grow in substrates like PON or Leca unless they are lithophytes. Monsteras are not lithophytes. They are Hemi-epiphytes. They should be growing in a potting substrate amended with aerating components like perlite, pumice, horticultural charcoal and organic matter like coir fiber, or fir bark. In their epiphytic stage of life they will grow ON stone, but the do not like to grow IN stone. You should pot this plant up in a good quality mix and give it adequate light, and it should grow for you. You have the roots
