Hello! My first post here. I know very little about maintaining trees. After watching a couple of videos I've pruned the bare minimum - suckers and dead/dying branches.

Here are my two trees. #1 is in relatively better shape than #2


Closeup of #1. Should I make this cut?


I am more worried about #2, which is leaning heavily (curiously, away from the sun). Should I look into staking it?
