There are hundreds of these seedlings popping up all over my backyard and I can't seem to make even a small dent in getting rid of them! I initially tried pulling them out but no matter how many I remove, a whole army of new ones pops up the very next day. It's relatively easy to pull them out with the root intact but in doing so I discovered that the soil around them is full of a seemingly endless supply of what look like tiny, curled up baby seedlings. Does anyone have a clue as to what this invader might be and how to tackle it?!

Do you or your neighbor have a Rose of Sharon shrub? Mine does and bees love the flowers! Lots of pollination means lots of seedlings right about now. Good news is they are easy to pull up now. Bad news is if you miss a seedling in a bad spot good luck getting rid of it. I'd give anything to cut down the row of shrubs my neighbor planted!
