And was intrigued by the soldering iron she uses. I was working on a wall candle holder to place outside anyway, so when the smoke cleared, I made this. We don't get many hummingbirds but I haven't seen it used in the last day or two it's been set up. Will update if I do.

BTW, I thought about adding a perch.

I have a small metal'flower' from a broken hummer feeder but have never thought to stick it in a cup like that, or little jar, or something. I have one of those exact cups.

How do you see them getting the nectar?

They don't need perches as they can hover. But it is a good start.
I am not sure about the purple color though. My hummingbird feeders have little red flowers with yellow centers. Those are suppose to be their favorites. But I can't get them to stay still long enough so I can ask them!

The people is just the frame/candle holder. The actual flower part was taken from a junked hummingbird feeder.
