I found this in the lawn after my father mowed so 2 of the leaves have been chopped. Anyone know what it is?

You can't have too many viburnums..

In Illinois 5b, with that leaf morphology (even cut in half), it is likely to either be a Flowering Crabapple seedling from a red-leaved selection (Malus sp.), or a seedling from a Purpleleaf Plum (Prunus cerasifera).

There is a crabapple tree here but it has green leaves.
Could this be a seedling from that tree?
