Thread OP

I noticed tiny fast moving bugs mostly on the rim and in the saucers of several of my plants in the same area of the house. I've also seen SOME on the foliage of the plants, but they are mostly on the pots themselves and the saucers. It has been one week, and there aren't any spider mite looking webs or any sign of plant damage, or bugs on undersides of leaves, so I think I can rule out spider mites. I think I can also rule out soil mites, because they are in 10-15 plants, one being on the floor and the other on the top level of my plant stand. I read that soil mites don't move from plant to plant. When I rinse the saucer and the pot clean, they reappear. I have some photos through an eye loop that are not ideal that I can post. The bugs are pear shaped and light in color, fast moving. Couldn't tell the number of legs. What are they?!?

Pear-shaped sound a whole lot like soil mites and fast-moving makes me think Prostigmata soil mites. They are completely harmless to the plants and love to catch a ride from ants, honeybees etc. That's how they spread around.
