I would love to see everyone's pictures of 'Gold Nugget' and 'Gold Rush'. Here is mine compared to each other. In full disclosure, the Gold Rush did get a little sunburnt while I was out of town, but they appear to be recovering nicely.

So far, GN is pinker than GR, for me. But it has only been since March, so that could change at any time.

FPF, which is what?

Here is my 'Gold Rush'

So far 'Gold Rush' is a better grower, with more offsets. But, it has been heavily fertilized before I purchased it. Really won't know what the differences are until next year when they have both been grown in the same manner.

I'm sorry. The first is Gold Nugget. The second is Gold Rush.
My Gold Rush also has many more offsets. Gold Nugget has one, that I can see, but it's also only half the size of Gold Rush. It could catch up.

Today I took photos of Gold Nugget and Gold Rush.

I had to completely redo my Gold Nugget colony. I get this obnoxious week that is like tiny clover and once it takes hold you can't get rid of it. My answer is to pull out all the semps, clean all the dirt off their roots and plant then in a clean pot with new soil. Goodbye weeds. So I redid Gold Nugget about a week ago.

Nice comparison photos Melissa. Definitely a big difference between the two.
'Gold Rush' doesn't look very happy about the move. Give it a week or two and we will never know it was moved. Lovey dubby

I am finding that 'Gold Rush' is very different from 'Gold Nugget'. So far 'Gold Rush' seems to be very vigorous. I'll try to get some new photos when it cools down outside.

Gold Rush - I have 2 containers of Gold Rush. They sit within a foot of each other and yet look so different.

Melissa, they all look wonderful, but that photo of 'Gold Mine' is stunning. I love the layers of color.

Mine are all doing pretty good right now. I will be so glad when we got some rain so I can quit watering everybody!! It has been exhausting!

I agree about the rain Melissa. We are supposed to get our first rain this weekend. We have not had any rain since the first part of June.

I just came in from getting photos of my 'Gold Nugget' and 'Gold Rush'. I am finding that 'Gold Rush' is a better performer than 'Gold Nugget'. A bit larger, and more productive with the offsetting.

Just for comparison, here is 'Gold', a new one from Europe. Not sure what it will do, new this summer.

That Gold is lovely Lynn. The little piece that you shared with me is doing well but does not look as pretty as yours.

I think it is because mine is in all day/full sun, and it has had a longer time to establish. What does yours look like now?
I will be starting to clean the colonies up now. Sorry about damaged dead leaves. This has been a tough summer here.

It has been a tough summer here and too damn long. I am glad to see the clouds gathering. We sure do need the rain.

Here is my Gold taken just a few minutes ago. Not very big or very colorful yet but growing nicely.

Very good Melissa. They look fine, just not in the ground as long as mine have been. I look forward to seeing how these do through the winter and into spring.

I have found Gold has more subtle coloring in the spring for me. I'll have see what mine is looking like after the move. Gold Rush stayed pretty small for me this year, but with the weather this year, I'll wait to see how it does here.
