I just made one of my first pieces of garden art, my long awaited garden chandelier! It's upcycled out of a chimenea lid and replacement chandelier beads. Because I already owned some of the supplies this project only cost me under $25 (cad)! It shimmers and makes my heart swoon. I almost want to make several more but I'm not so sure I'll come across another chimenea any time soon lol. I've always felt like a chandelier would add that bit of oomph to make my space feel more elegant, like a swanky café terrace. Anyone else love a bit of glamour in the garden?

For those interested there's more on the process here on my blog.

Oh I bet it really shines when the sun hits it just right.
I hung one in my garden and the movement from the sun during a slight wind Is enchanting. Lovely twinkle at night when lite on. It was a find at a thrift store.

It's lovely! And what a beautiful place to hang it, is that honeysuckle? I went out today and saw mine casting rainbow prisms all over the place! A little bit of colour while I wait for things to bloom. Smiling

The crystals seem to brighten up and add movement to the garden.
It hanging under climbing hydrangea.
Honeysuckle will be pretty 🤩. It's been a slow start to the season here too . Cooler and rainy later than usual this season in northwest Oregon.
Isn't it fun to put different things in the garden. Definitely stops the eye to take a second look.
