This image is perfectly fine where it is (in the genus entry for Haworthia) but if you'd like to move it to a specific entry, it would belong here:

Horse's Teeth (Haworthia truncata)

For what it's worth (reading the caption) the database treats maughanii as a variety of truncata, but we can sidestep the issue of what variety it is but using the species entry for this image.

@HamiltonSquare if you would like, I can move this image for you, or we can leave it where it is. Please let me know what you think.

I don't want to add to the confusion on Phoenix that's already out there so I placed it in the generic entry for now. Thanks.

For what it's worth, this is the difference between the two varieties of truncata:

H. truncata v. truncata - distichous rosettes with flattened leaves in two rows
H. truncata v. maughanii - non-distichous (multifarious) rosettes with rounded leaves

The plant in the picture clearly has a distichous rosette, so it cannot be maughanii. It has to be the type variety of truncata.

Of course you are totally entitled to choose where the image ends up in the database, and if you prefer the genus entry, that's your call. This just to explain the situation, and the difference between these varieties. A distichous plant cannot be maughanii, which looks like this:

If nothing else, this information should resolve any residual uncertainty you might have about the scientific name of the plant in the original picture, whether or not a particular cultivar name applies.

I'm well aware of all of this. Thank you.
