I saw some lovely specimens of this at the RHS Harlow Carr flower show last week. I can't find it in the database. Is it a valid name?

Sue, I've found a couple of references to this variety in taxonomic sources, but they're more than 10 years old. Current taxonomic sources no longer list it as an accepted botanical name or a synonym. I think you should post your photos in the Sarracenia flava entry and record the longer name in the photo captions. That will make the photos easier to locate in case the variety ever reappears in a taxonomic directory.
