I usually count the days from the first bluebird hatching as other eggs will hatch a day later or so.
It had been 16 days since the first egg hatched in the yellow bird box were four baby bluebirds having been fed by mother and father .

The feeding began to speed up and I knew that meant the baby birds would start to leave the nest that morning most likely and watching both parents flying to the opening and then calling them from the tree limbs above to come on out!

Well the first bird to hatch left one morning but it was Tues of this week that the other three flew out...

Here is the first one peeking out of the hole just before he put its feet on the edge of the opening and wobbled in the air and then flew upward to the antenna on the roof where his parent was calling him to join them!

I just wanted to help the little bird ..amazing how it wobbled in mid air then just raised its wings fully and flew like it had always known how to fly!
