what is proper name?

it arrived as a single long stem- looked exactly like a mini monstera. it was a gift cutting from a plant friend who received an unlabeled gift from a not plant person
I cut the single main stem down to individual nodes, which all rooted and have new nodes, and the original mother stem put up a new shoot. it grows exactly like monstera d. or adesonii, but clearly isn't either.

it's very cool that even tiny new leaves have splits.. inserting a comparison photo to give a little scale..

Hi,
Mini Monstera is the common name for Rhaphidophora tetrasperma.
Nice bulldogs, I have one who looks like your white. Smiling

Thank you.
Dover is a scott american bulldog and he's the devil. the snuggliest cuddliest most house wrecking dog the world has ever seen.

i thought he peed on the dining rm rug the other day... there's this giant orange yellow stain..

he stole BOTH mangoes off the kitchen counter, smeared orange stains all over my rug, ate them peel to hard white center, then kept me awake for 3 days sucking his teeth trying to get the mango seed hairs out of his teeth and I don't even want to talk about two mangoes worth of skin pooping...

he kills more plants than I do, except he smashes the expensive pots to do it, oh, and did I mention he bites strangers?

Looks like my Rhaphidophora tetraspermas only better, much older.

I had 1 out of 4 noded cuttings take, good job!

My sister adopted an older husky who would ignore meat in a grocery bag but snag and devour mangoes, and only mangoes. Small world.

Good luck with the dog. I had a border collie male who was great with everyone until he bit my neighbor and over several years 3 co-workers. Fine with women but he spent 7 years under very needed restrictions.

it's remarkably hot and humid. i could probably cut a piece, throw it out the window on the shade side of the house and come back to a plant in the fall.

80/80 rule. over 80 degrees, over 80% humidity, anything tropical that can root will.

You are correct. Rhaphidophora is a different genus. It is called a Mini Monstera because it looks like a mini version of Monstera deliciosa.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.
