Thread OP
Michigan (Zone 5b)
I have a Lonicera ssp. bush that has a sport/mutation that I would like to propagate. The thing is that it is a shrub or bush, not the normal vines that Lonicera seem to be. I assume they can be propagate the same way Lonicera vines can be, by rooting cuttings or air layering. I have started a few attempts at cuttings, air layering, and grafting, so I will see how they turn out. Ideally I'm looking to determine what propagation method has the highest success rate, or lowest loss of plant material.
I am curious if others here have experience related to this.
