This image and the following one



both appear to be Pachypodium lamerei, not P. geayi. Both species are trees, and they are very similar as young plants, but geayi has fine pubescence on new spines, it flowers much later in life (10-12 feet or taller), and its flowers have exserted stamens.

I would like to propose moving these 2 images to the entry for lamerei. Please speak up if you have any opinions about this change.
