If you missed Harvest Day, you missed a lot this year! Thousands of gardeners, orchardists, nursery people, and the just plain curious attended the Fair Oaks Harvest Day celebration. Dozens of info booths, master gardeners, master canners, state and federal government officials, University of California representatives, and actual mobile nurseries were present to answer questions, provide advice, demonstrate alternative agricultural practices, present topics of interest at seminars, or just identify what went wrong with your tomato plant. The Fair Oaks Community Garden was open to the pubic for tours and many garden plot holders were on hand to discuss their successes and failures. Everyone enjoyed the warm sunny weather. Here are a few photos of the event.

Thanks for the information. I live in the south part of Sacramento so do not get out to the Fair Oaks area much. If it is a yearly event, will try to go this year.

Happy to meet a fellow gardener in Sacramento!

Dianne
