I have this plant in a combination planter. August 1st I gently removed from planter and potted up in a corse granite/sand/potting soil mix. In short order it bloomed.
Beautiful !
Question: does this end its growing cycle - will it die now?
Hope not; I was planning to transition it to indoors for winter.
Thanks garden friends.
This was when in combo pot:

Hi Kathy,
@katesflowers
Titanopsis hugo-schlechteri
Living Rock (Titanopsis hugo-schlechteri)
What a wonderful succulent. It is a evergreen perennial and should be around for a long time with proper care. Needs very good drainage with lots of rock/gravel/course sand and very little soil.
Hope this was helpful. It will needs lots of bright light indoors.

Thanks, Lynn ! Good news.

In the month of September all my succulents will be transplanted and brought in for their winter vacation; where they can watch the winter snows from the windowsill.

Kate, have you tried the winter hardy sempervivum yet? You don't have to bring them indoors for winter. They do well in MI, you are not far from Chris Hansen's facility. He has lots of winter hardy succulents.
Love your photos.

Kate, it is not a retail facility. They do plant breeding and propagation for wholesale.
Do you do Face Book?
