These seedlings are about a year old now. They are starting to express their individuality. These are mostly from the same crop of seeds. The darker one is not. Its a different cross. But its fun seeing what I get from my efforts at hybridizing. These are all Anthurium 'Mehani' seedlings, crossed with Anthurium besseae x magnificum and Anthurium papillilaminum

They really do have their own unique characteristics! I assume self-pollinated seeds would have much less variation among grown-up seedlings. I'm curious when in its ontogeny Anthurium 'Mehani' starts putting out orange-tinted new growth, and if you'll get that in any of your hybrids.

The leaves of new anthurium very a lot in color. A lot of my seedings are putting out different color new leaves. I have seedlings ranging in age from 1 month to a little over 3 years. My oldest seedlings are already blooming themselves. This seedling has a lovely red leaf
