I challenge all of you who have taken plants outside for summer to take a pic of each before it comes back inside for winter.

Some years I rinse and primp every plant to remove any dead or ugly leaves, trim a little, clean rain-splashed sand off of pots, and some years I find myself dashing from pot to pot and just grabbing them in a random panic. I'm going to start next weekend with the rinsing and primping. Almost all of my pots are under a porch roof, so there's a lot of dust on a lot of leaves.

No idea if first frost will be mid-Oct. or sometime in Dec. here, but I'm hoping to be ready and do the move calmly whenever the time comes. I got another pack of 50 plastic plates to be ready on that front. They're not that deep, but for the price difference, they work great as drip trays. 50 actual drip trays of that size would be $100 instead of $6.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.
