I've only seen Papaya (Carica papaya) growing in full, direct sun here in Florida. It might survive as a houseplant but it won't likely set flowers and fruit without sufficient sun.

Oh, for sure, I don't expect anything more than foliage. And its the full sun need I think will make it just wimp out.

You won't know until you try. I might nip the new leaf out of the tip now to encourage the tip to split so it doesn't get so tall so fast. Those leaves are cool for sure.

The ones in the garden shoot up straight , now up to 5 feet, with a fat juicy stem and no branching at all. I could nip one of the garden ones and see if it starts to branch Thumbs up
