Musa coccinea, (scarlet banana) I believes, they are a dwarf among most bananas, with striking red blooms. popular in garden and very great as cut flower.

Of course not,

it's just I am more exposed to tropical, since I live in tropics, and most bot garden in my country only have tropicals and I do love responding to a post. especially plant ID..

I agree Tofi is masterful. It is now becoming a challenge to find something he does not know. I am winding down my Florida collections and have some rare exotics from Panama and Ecuador coming in the future.
