It looks like berries of a Firethorn (Pyracantha). I have one here in my garden, the blackbirds have already eaten all berries.

That is a wonderful idea! I can picture a huge wreath made of those branches mixed in with some evergreens and maybe a few other smaller seed balls for birds, and hung somewhere the birds could snack on the berries and other treats.
