I have a big Scutellaria incana, and notlw I have empty room in a 3 foot by 15 foot bed on the south side of my house. This spot gets sort of dry, as it is hotter, and has a driveway along it. And while it is easy enough ro reach with hose, I am tentative when I water, being along the foundation. All this to say, does Scutellaria tolerate some hotter drier sites? I am nominally a 7b but this area has to be 8 plus zone.
Plant it and they will come.

I thought I remembered my scuttelarias being more like woodland plants... So I searched to be sure...

I wouldn't plant this on the south of the house... maybe the east or north.
