Hi
I am looking to trade or buy acorns of Quercus muehlenbergii or Quercus prinoides, so that I may grow them. I have heard that these are the best tasting acorns and have low tannin content supposedly which has peaked my interest, they are also beautiful trees. I expect that many people may be surrounded with these species, and I think they might be fruiting now? I am not sure. Thanks I can trade

Quercus geminata
Quercus hemisphaerica
Datura metel "fastuosa"
Datura inoxia
arugula
Vidalia onion seeds
Black knight morning glory
little bell morning glory
Papaver somniferum (mixed)
Coontie
Swietenia mahagonii
Bye

I'll be in the Appalachians where I've gotten Q. muehlenbergii seeds before I'll try and keep my eye out on some for you because I'll be looking for some myself if it's not already too late. And good choice of tree they're my favorite oak and I will attest they are good eating too!

If I find some I'd most be interested in Q. hemisphaerica, or Q. geminata and I have to see if they're all still good but I may have some Q. suber to trade although their radicles have already germinated.

The morning glory which blooms for an hour, differs not at heart from the giant pine, which lives for a thousand years.

Oh! Thank you so much! Sorry, I only just saw this post, I'm not sure why but I didn't get an email notification. I, in fact, do have some Quercus geminata acorns available but unfortunately I think I ran out of Q. hemisphaerica. Although I do have live Q. hemisphaerica saplings if you are potentially interested in that. I am very much still interested in acquiring Q. muhlenbergii. Q. suber is another amazing species that I would definitely be interested in as well, and that one also seems personally difficult to get hands on, unless you want to ship overseas.

Please let me know if you were able to acquire them and if you would still be interested in trading, (I have many other seeds available if you would like me to send a sort of catalogue).

Thanks again
